From my initial sketches, I had to be more specific on what typography can be. So for these rounds of sketches, I decided to focus on fridges that utilizes type magnets on them. What I like about these is that for each different fridge, there’s some sort of story going on. It’s up to the viewer to figure out what’s happening. I didn’t want these sketches to be too much, because then it wouldn’t really be a spot illustration, so I had to reduce the amount of detail and items for each spot.
About This Course
This course is a practical introduction to the field of illustration. The focus will be placed on process work and professional practices, presented within a contemporary and historical context. The course includes projects and lectures in a variety of illustration genres.
