When I draw, I tend to draw whatever’s on my mind. Although majority of the time, I’m influenced by other people’s style of art and that helped me distinguish my own. I love to draw fictional characters and in many ways these become my little doodles. I like to draw my characters using line art as that’s my favorite style of art. There’s some shading involved within my art, but depends on the direction that I’m going towards. Some visual vocabulary that I want to achieve towards is by utilizing line, texture and color. That seems simple, but when achieved right, you can pull off some amazing artwork. As for my inking, this is one of the few times that I’ve actually used it. When I start drawing, I only use pencil or pen, then finish it off with some color whether it’s with marker or imported digitally through the computer.
