1. Music usually appears as the physical version of my art. Certain songs I listen to create a visual image to me or a certain feeling and I always want to visually portray that when I’m in the mood to draw.
  2. I’m from Barbados, so the colorfulness and the vibrancy influences my art but only on a small level. But being able to see the stars and seeing jellyfishes from my country influences it a lot. The stars and the jellyfish even though from a distance, look simple but at the same time, is more complicated than it looks
  3. My personal experiences with depression and anxiety influence my drawings because sometimes when it’s hard to get a certain emotion or a bad thought out, I make it into a painting so I can show the people I want to express to. It also gives you different types of ideas when you’re also in your own head.
