• What’s wrong with starting research with a thesis statement? When is it okay to start with one?

Starting with a thesis is incorrect because you are already making the declaration of understanding what you are talking about. But the study point is to find out new stuff and to present different views about what you’re talking about.

  •  comfortable are you with the possibility of never finding “answers” to your research?

I’m fine with not having definitive answers to my study because I know there will never be an end to the topics we’re looking at.What I mean is that I know that understanding what I’m learning more about would not stop there.

  • How do you do research? What tools and tips do you have/use?

I start by looking through recent current events on the topic, then I try to see when, how, or why it started. Then, for example, if I was doing climate change, I would see multiple viewpoints, I would see who is most interested and see how it impacts the environment. Then I’d try to understand as best as I can and offer my own opinion.
