Servant Based Leadership

Its semester I participated in the Disney class, Organizational Leadership. My type of leadership to research was servant based leadership. In accordance with The Academy of Managements Reviews article “Practicing Servant-Leadership: Success Through Trust, Bravery and Forgiveness” servant-based leadership is “valuing individuals and developing people, building community, practicing authenticity, and providing leadership that focuses on the good of those who are being led and those whom the organization serves”(Spears & Lawrence, 2004). I dream that all employers were organized like this. Where the employees and community came be for the profitability of the company.
