Read and React #2

Working in Ecpot, Future North you can see many storms that pass by. All managers are in charge of all policies and procedures responsible for their stores. I recently spoke to my manager and step one is closing all registers before a storm comes. All shelves in store need to be lifted above about four feet and all guests are evaluated from the theme park.
As compared to the statements in the article “The Storms of Summer” by Barbara Higgins, cast members are trained by having a designed place to check in after an emergency. Looking over the attendance sheet is major step, after everyone evocated the building to see if everyone is safe. These are safety procedures and safety regulations Disney has standards for every cast member. All exits are different for every facility.
What lessons I can relate is to your future in management to keep control of the guest experience at all times in unpredictable weather. There are many hurricanes that hit Florida and it significantly to keep guest remaining calm. The best- laid plans includes keeping guest safe, keep employees safe, have a thoughtful plan and ride out and providing ability to get parks open and operating as soon as possible after the storm.
