Hello my name is Carol Pelaez. As my arrival date is approaching soon, the question I have for you is how busy is the first week after arriving to Disney?

Hi Carol,
Congratulations on your acceptance in the program! I wish you have an amazing time while you’re down there.
Regarding the first few weeks, it is actually pretty mild. The Walt Disney Company knows that for some interns, this is their first time at Disney World, for some even, the first time in this country! So for the first two weeks, your time is very loosely scheduled between Traditions (orientation), training and settling in.
I personally recommend you use this time to explore the parks and go site-seeing at the resorts! Check out Downtown Disney’s attractions as well on those evenings you don’t want to invest in the parks. Definitely check out the water parks while the weather is still warm.
