Learning how to distribute my money has been one of my challenges! Since i have to do my own food shopping and house appliance shopping I’ve realized things aren’t cheap! Having to cook for myself hasn’t been a problem since it’s something i enjoy doing. My roommates and I all get along just fine and we work together to maintain our apartment tidy which is a great thing! I’m glad we all met beforehand and got to know each other, down here i always hear people saying they’re not happy with the roommates, but I always make sure to say I LOVE mine!

I completely understand what u mean by living on your own can be hard. This is my first time living on my own and its not the same when mom is not around cleaning and cooking for me. But I’m happy this has given me a chance to experience being an adult and having to deal with all my responsibilities without help from mom and dad.
Budgeting is key though there’s not much to budget! It ‘s important to prioritize, and ration it out for the week–I know I’m trying my hardest to resort to ramen!
I lucked out too with my roommates. We are all very different, but get along, and actually enjoy each other’s company. While we’re fairly far from home, it’s nice to be able to create a family down here.
