I like to use a 5.5×8.5-inch sketchbook, which is easy to carry and often fills up a page quickly. I often use a pencil and eraser to practice people in my sketchbook, and I spend a lot of time drawing people. Pencils and erasers are the tools I use the most and the most often, and I rarely use color. And one of the points mentioned in the article, “For example, if you’re an artist who usually sketches people, you might want to try blind contour drawing…” I think it would be interesting and I would like to try it without looking at the sketchbook and one stroke to the end. I want to do a color study with my sketchbook. I rarely use color, but I like it and want to try it.
