Union Square Green Market

Ever since I was a little girl I have enjoyed apples. They are one of my favorite fruits. As I walked along the Union Square green market there were plenty of vendors selling their produce, wines, and baked goods, but the one that stood out to me was the stand with all the different kind of apples. They had crates of them! All different kinds. It brought me back to when I was a little girl, I was around five years old when my parents took me apple picking. I remember how much fun I had, and after we got our apples we got to make apple cider out of them. Apples are used to make some of my favorite things to eat, apple pies, apple turnovers, and especially warm apple cider. There was a stand there actually selling warm apple cider for only $2.00. I bought a cup, it was delicious. I have passed by the Union Square green market countless times but never really took the time to actually see what it could offer.
