A green market is nothing new to me at all. With my mom going for nothing but the freshest products, food has always tasted that much better.Once there i remembered why I loved going so much. Carrots. The vegetable that has always been a big hit in the kitchen is carrots, being of Haitian descent carrots always found a way to be included in one of our dishes. One of the main reasons i love carrots is because even though its a vegetable it still manages to be apart of one of my favorite deserts, Carrot Cake. Oddly enough i do not enjoy carrots by itself, i always thought it was pretty bland in flavor, but once i had it as a cake, in soup, rice and other various dishes, i loved it.
