Amity, as usual, impressive write-ups. I like how you address the student and relate Unit 2 to previous work. I also appreciate the examples you give of genre experiences. I like to use what I do myself to relate to student effort. Annotated Bib assignment is clear and helpful examples as guide. My only question is why they can’t write in the genres they worked on for the Bib? Isn’t that helpful for them to recreate the genre that they looked up and read about as a way of practicing? Otherwise, I think the assignments are interesting, I could complete them without having many questions. I do also like the options they can choose to recreate–very informative and fun.
