Pictures taken in Ferguson look more dynamic than the one taken in Kent State. The one in Kent State looks more like it was staged and the ones in Ferguson look more dynamic. As the author said, he did not have time focus and shoot. He shoot without pointing and do the afterwork later.

week 11
pictures are very dynamic and dramatic. I think the reason why only few Americans know about this matter is because it is not the business that they care about. There must be other reasons such as lack of attention of media and political support, but mainly is because we do not care. We still have what we have and our daily lives are not so different from any other days.
week 9
Interesting pictures. Even though some of artists only request simple meals like gummy bears, the artist still took amazing piece of art out of them. It seems like he is very good at plating. It has 3 dimensional elements.
photography and special effects in early film
Watching the video of early film, I found few similarities and differences between early photography and film.
I figured that in early film, there is no movement of camera. Every scene happens within a still camera’s angle just as early photograph that process takes very long and camera had to be stay still in one position for a while.
The biggest difference I found is that, the film camera still catches the movement of object and people whereas early photography could not do that. The process took a while, and the photograph could not capture anything that moved.
texture
texture of foods in this photograph.
The bottle looks very rigid. The bottle says chablis. you can imagine whats in it would be crispy and refreshing and has enough acidity.
The chees looks very soft while the breads looks a bit crunchy because it is toasted.
I think one way to show the texture of an object in photograph is contrast. One can put an objects that have totally different texture next to the each other.
It is true that texture is critical in terms of food. I have worked with a chef that always concerns about the textrue when he made a new menu or dishes.
One example. A lot of restaurant serves pate with something crunchy such as diced carrots or radish.
Food or coffee
this is the food I can not live without.
Especially since I quit smoking, caramel machiatto is the only thing that keeps me up and give me an energy to get through a day. Also, caramel machiatto is what i get when I suffer from headache. I would totally understand if the soldiers chose coffee over foods, but I would choose food if I were them. It it true and I strongly believe that caffeine fuels people but without source of energy, there is nothing to fuel. “We save a piece of bread for the last, with which we wipe up everything, and then eat the dish rag.” This sentence impressed me the most through out the article because it reminds me of how my mother taught me not to waste any food.

Article
Before I start my sentence, I must admit that I take pictures of food from time to time. However, I don’t like people take pictures of food in general. From my perspective, dining in at a restaurant is more about share a great moment with your accompany rather than take pictures of the food and the restaurant with small electronic device and post online to brag how amazing their lives are. I see many of my guests that are very busy posting pictures on their SNS and add comment right under them and say how happy they are to eat awesome foods with their close friends. That doesn’t mean that those guests always have good time. In fact, some of them barely even talk to their friends and they don’t always look happy.
Anyone who is actually appreciate food would want to eat it when it is at the right temperature.
