I don’t remember much but I was told that I started elementary school at a very young age. I remember wearing a blue shirt, blue pants with red stripes one the sides . I remember walking towards a tall dark who I would soon know taught math. In her class we learned simple addition and subtraction, multiplication followed by simple division problems. During each class we sat around circle tables and had a little backpacks together next to us. Whenever you have a question or need to use the bathroom you will have to raise your hand. When it came time to write I remember using a manual pencil that I had previously sharpened five times the night before. I would write a small spiral notebook and would often look at the teacher for her approval. After school My mom would come and pick me up and take me to my cousin’s family shop where we complete our homework together, eat and do silly dances together. Hours later my mom would come back from work and take me home.
