The concept behind these illustrations was to attempt to depict the words kill and strong in a visual sense using typography. I chose kill and strong because those words are in a way contradictory to one another and also the most powerful words in the quote. Being the most powerful words i tried to make them bolder or stand out by putting the word kill in the shape of a gun and the word strong in the shape of muscles in the last image. In the middle image I tried to show the word stronger in a cracked beat up state however was still standing which is the meaning behind the quote and why i tried to portray that in the illustration. And the first one I wanted to try different type of type face by using elegant script.
