Today in class we learned a myriad of things. From how much money we’ll make at certain jobs to what not to do once we get out there in the real world. One thing we learned in class was about financial principles in the workplace when we become professionals in our careers. How much money we make in temp jobs depending on the length of the job was discussed. We also discussed temp agencies and regular junior design jobs and the links to apply to them in sites such as creativehotlist.com and simplyhired.com etc. We also watched a Youtube video that spoke upon the topic of making logos and artwork online for commission and to not give into those sites that offer minimal income for your artwork. Many artist code their own websites, however, in class we discussed behance website and how we can use that as a online site to present our work.
