Note: This To-Do List was updated for clarification after answering student questions in today’s Office Hour! I appreciate your questions, everyone.

For today’s session:

  1. Read: Unit 3 Project Proposal Instructions You might need to review: Unit 3 Assignment: Writing in a New Genre. Remember, your project in Unit 3 builds on research completed in Unit 2.
  2. Read this post:  Reading: Kyle Stedman’s “Annoying Ways People Use Sources” The article is optional reading, but do read the post.
  3. Complete: Unit 3 Project Proposal on the OpenLab. This two paragraph assignment is also your Participation Activity.
  4. If you haven’t already submitted Unit 2 assignment, the Annotated Bibliography: Late assignments are being accepted on Blackboard. You will lose points for being late; however, this is much better than not turning in the work. You will be able to revise for these points in the final portfolio at the end of the semester. IF you need to, you may want to watch the video presentation Unit 2 Assignment: Due on Blackboard On or Before Nov. 10 (This was also on last Thursday’s To-Do List). To those who have already posted: well done!

Participation Activity

(Due any time before 10 am on Tuesday, Nov. 17 for attendance credit)

Use the instructions in the post: Unit 3 Project Proposal Instructions  and post your project proposal on the OpenLab as a post.
