LiveWell Session 3

I just finished LiveWell Session 3. I continue exercising regularly. And my diet changed a lot. I included a lot of vegetables and fruits to all my meals. I also keep a pack of almonds at work in case I would want a snack in between meals. I also try to relax and do things that make me happy when I feel that stress levels go up.

A Healthy Mind = A Longer Life

Live Well Session 2

After completing the 2nd Live Well session, I have noticed that I still do not consume enough greens and fruits on a daily basis. I have tried to help to change that by purchasing more fruits on the weekends and bringing them to work with me to eat as a snack or with my lunch. Also, I have begun to prioritize a bit more with my school assignments and save money in order to help deal with financial and school related stress. So far, it does help to pick apart a large task and complete it in smaller subsections rather than look at it as a whole.

LiveWell session 2

After completing my session 2, I noticed that now Iā€™m at the action level for healthy eating, exercise and on maintenance level for stress management. I feel proud that It has changed my eating habits for good. While going through the question I realized how important healthy died can be and also made it easy for me by recommending what I should be eating and also the amount. For exercise, I was at the precontemplation level in the beginning and now Iā€™m on the action level because I made promise to myself to work out at least 5 times a week. I even kept my exercise equipment right next to where I spend most of the day when Iā€™m home which is right next to my computer and I make sure to take break once in a while and do little exercise so that way I donā€™t have to take extra time out for my exercise. Although Iā€™m not very consistent and my exercise time changes day to day but at least itā€™s better then not doing at all. For stress management I was on maintenance in the beginning of starting the live well program and Iā€™m still on the same level, I really like the story of other students who talk about how they dealt with stress and what they did, this also helped me a lot.

Live Well Post for 2nd session

The second session revisited some of these same questions that the previous one asked about. This has helped to establish and track the progress in the areas that needed to become better, or to continue maintain the good work from before the first stage. I have had my activities side of things on a maintenance stage, as I have been working out for extensive periods of time systematically. However my nutrition intake results showed that I need to eat more fruits and vegetables per day. So I did. I tried to include this type of food in every meal I have and keep at least recommended 4 cups per day. Another suggestion was for me to find someone, who would track my achievements, and have someone to, basically, report to. However I disagree, as I would not trust my motivation and will to lead and maintain healthy living to other people.

Live Well Session 2

Healthy Eating has always been a difficult process for me. My schedule is crammed with work, school, and other responsibilities that I barely get to eat all three meals sometimes. I do have plans to begin my meal prep again Sunday night, to force myself into better eating habits since the food will be all set, done, and made for me already. Hopefully that will work and I can with time become a member of the “maintenance stage”.

Live Well 2nd Full Session

As I went through my second session, the LiveWell website shows that I am in the ‘contemplation’ stage. I have slowly altered my diet for more fruits and vegetables and less junk food. I did start to drink water and juice over coffee and soda. Overall, I feel more energetic than a month or two ago. I feel that by the time I take my next session, I would start to focus on making time to exercise, even if it is just for 30 minutes. I do realize the importance of exercise even before I have taken these self-assessment sessions, that it would improve my mind and my body, especially with my hectic work and school schedule.

Live Well

eh.. I wish I could say I’ve listened to my live well suggestions but I haven’t šŸ™ It is a great site with great feedback and ofcourse it knows me so well (as it was spot on with the feedback). I should be working on managing my stress, that’s my biggest issue. I really don’t like exercising, I do however plan to fit some yoga or meditation into my life..which should help me manage stress better!

Live Well Session 1

I have completed the first Livewell session, and I like the way it evaluated me. I am Ā currently in the maintenance stage in Ā most areas except for my eating habits which I am currently working on now. Im looking foward to the next session to see how much I have Ā improved.

LiveWell Session One

My first session on live well was very informative. It has shown me that my stress management is at a very high stage. I am maintaining my stress regularly. I am in the action stage of exercise. I am trying to the best of my ability to reach maintenance and keep it going for a regular and steady pace. It’s easier to keep going then to have to start all over again. Then there is healthy eating. A section in livewell, where I am at the Preparation stage. I have a habit of eating and drinking everything and anything that tastes good and is in front of me at any time, any place. I have come to a conclusion that my goal is to meal prep more often and to find myself eating healthy and regularly. I will no longer eat after 8pm daily. My goal is to be closer to maintenance by the end of the semester.
