“The Service Corps laid¬†a¬†foundation for my professional career. I was placed as an intern at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.¬†I had a good experience with the internship and learning from my field of study. My supervisor¬†provided a letter of recommendation at the end of the program which helped kick-start my¬†getting into the workforce while job-hunting.The program made me grow professionally as well as personally and¬†motivated¬†me¬†to¬†do more for the community everyday.”
