Another task I had was asked to do was to transcribe the interview for a show called Shades of U.S, a CUNY TV DIGITAL SERIES, a four-part web-only miniseries containing stories of people who are exploring their multiracialism and journey of self-identification in a time of dramatic shifts in the demographics of the American population.  Had a great challenge with the first video I transcribed, the interview was about 25-40 mins long and I had to type fast in order to capture everything that the person had said.  Those 25-40 mins took me about 3 hours to complete. I definitely learn the importance of listening attentively and having a comprehensive understanding of grammar and spelling intricacies. When I worked on over transcripts, I felt like my typing speed had improved and my patience had improved too.  Never has multi-tasking been so helpful.
