I was able to participate in a shooting with Darrell Brown and Sam Daniel. Darell Brown interviewed Sabrica Barnett, who works at Girls Scout, for a segment of people who define themselves as biracial or multiracial. Barnett was a great asset to the show because she did a study on people who identity as biracial, and how she connected with the biracial community. Before leaving for the interview, we checked the gear, and even realize that we needed a another battery. I was able to accompanied them and set up for the interview. What I learned about the interview process is to always try to make the interviewee comfortable; it helps to have a thought of possible shots, storyboard. The next step was thanking to the footage and start editing. I can wait to the the segment air.
