LL6 Freezing Motion

What I like from this photo that I took is Romando catching the ball and focusing on his subject. The subject is thrown up in the air but looking at this image, it shows the freezing motion that the ball may be in this position but is thrown up in the air. His glasses also doesn’t give a reflect to this photo as the glasses weren’t there. As he looked away from the flash and camera, there wouldn’t be any reflection but the focus is accurate. The shadow is also shown to the left of the image.

This is probably my favorite of all the photos we took. Not only is there clear motion in the scarf and her hair, there’s also depth which makes the photo feel immersive. The pink color of the scarf really contrasts with her, the dark sweater, and the white background.

Alicia  is jumping and trying to stay conservative in the picture because she is wearing a dress today. I like this picture because she looks like she is having fun and you can see that she was moving by the flow of her dress and the fall of her hair. The shadow in the background helps the photo pop and the light illuminate her smile.

Freezing motion

This picture captured the perfect moment. This picture could not be recreated even if we took this picture 1000 times over and I think thats what makes it so unique. The strongest feature of this picture is how the scarf falling down and it perfectly wraps around the subject’s face to create the perfect frame around her face.

Prieto, A – LL6 Freezing Motion

I chose this photo as a good example of freezing motion because although Jose’s arms and legs are coming out of the picture, the intensity of the jump is very visible through his body movement. His arms and legs are reaching out and his face is intense. The flash causes the very fast motion to freeze, and the subject came out sharp and in focus. If I could redo the photo I would try and fit more of his body in the center, although I like how centered the pose is. I would also try and have less of a harsh shadow in the background. Overall, I feel like this is a photo with a lot of potential.

This photo is good because it fills the frame and there’s the sense the scarf is flowing behind him. It’s a shot of exact moment just before the scarf lands on his shoulder. Also a sense of direction, as the viewer’s eye is naturally lead from left to right.

25771280423_fdcf59b0d4_o  The photo of Alberto captures the motion of the dice falling . His expression helps the photo, showing us he’s focused on catching the dice. Composition wise too I like how the dice is hiding one of his eyes, with the other visible eye showing his concentration.  His black shirt and colorful tattoos helps him stand out from the background .

In this photo there are many aspects that I like and I think hat work very well. First in the photo I like how most of the motion of the scarf is captured in this shoot.I also like the overall colors in this picture. His burgundy hat and the greenish scarf stand out in the photo a lot. The direction of the scarf flowing clearly indicates that he is walking right despite not being able to see his feet. Another factor that makes this photo great is his expression he has and as well as his movement in his hand. His face is not looking towards the camera making it so that you can only see one side of his face. His expression makes it look like he is majestic in some way and the light that shines on his faces makes a good contrast to the left side of the photo which is a bit darker.

freezing motion – Alberto Bernal

This is a great picture of freezing motion, in this picture i was able to catch the subject midair throwing the ball at someone.but it looks like he’s either about to catch it or he’s throwing it. Another thing that makes this a great freezing motion is the ball midair and how he’s focus on the ball.also the way the light hits him and hits his body makes it focus in his back and the front of the ball which allows it to stand out as a overall shot. once again the strongest feature of this shot is the ball in midair and his eyes as the direction where the ball in traveling.

This photo is one of my favorite ones because it captured his and the ball’s motion perfectly. Greg was throwing the ball from his back towards the camera while jumping in to the frame. His structure stands out a lot in contrast with the white background.
