Recall that 5% of your course grade will be based on participation/attendance. See below for a running list of ways that you can earn participation points towards this 5%. Completing any 5 of the following will get you the full 5%:
- 3 or fewer absences over the course of the semester
- visiting my office hours (Wednesdays 10:30a-11:30a in N724, or on Blackboard)
- joining the course group (by Mon Feb 3)
- posting a comment introducing yourself under First OpenLab Assignment – Introduce Yourself (by Mon Feb 3)
- posting a comment describing a spreadsheet function or technique under List of Spreadsheet Functions/Techniques (please only post once during the semester, so that everyone in class gets a chance to post)
- sending a homework question by email, or posting a homework question/hint on OpenLab or Blackboard
- additional OpenLab participation activities TBA
