In the article, ” Designing the future ” the author states the background and specific knowledge about designing the child future and that parents want the desirable features to the human body before they are born which support themselves and their child well-being. I agree with the author that people are so creative and passionate to have their ideal child. This realistic to the hospital area where the parents/parent discuss with the doctor and agreeing with resources used to obtain that idea child. In my life, I had not witnessed any genetic alteration or testing, and usually, I learn from books that the results can be proven and happening physically with the price to pay.

In the article “Designing the future ” the author states that the day when parents can shop for their future child physical and personality traits is rapidly approaching. Historically, parents could only hope that their child would be born with desirable moral traits such as courage. But there are scientists who are convinced that very soon parents might design their children before they are born. also scientists today can identify the child gender very early in the development of the fetus. However the author explains that not everyone working in the field of genetics believes that parents will be making such choices anytime soon. Some believe that genetic engineering will not be possible at least 100 years and others believe that the use of genetic engineering should be restricted to just those cases in which the health of the mother or her fetus is threatened. The author continues that the survey about this topic in United States have been changing in 1986, 42 percent though that changing the genes of human cells was morally wrong. But in 1996 the same survey was done and the number had dropped to 22 percent. But in the recent surveys Shevardnadze shown that many parents would be willing to use genetic engineering. Lastly the author mentions that all of this bring up some difficult social and moral questions. And my respond the question if I have the change to choose desirable traits or get rid of undesirable ones before my child is born than yes I would take that chance. today the technology had advanced a lot and I believe that in the future scientists will have the answer to this.

In the reading “Designing the Future” the author states that recent progress in genetic engineering has led some scientists to believe that that the day when parent can “shop” for their future child’s physical, intellectual, and personality traits is quickly approaching. I would and sometimes I do think of things I would want to have in my children. But, sometimes I also just want my children’s to be born with natural intellect. I agree with progress on genetic engineering because it is very helpful in terms of serious genetic diseases can be identified and “shop” for future child. Based on what I know and the reading, it is still progressing and will take time to develop because there are people that are not at all convinced that our genes control characteristics such as intelligence and personality. To connect it to myself, my father and most of my brothers have the similar facial feature as me.

In the article “Designing The Future,” the author discusses how genetic engineering could be harmful or healthy for the future designing baby. I agree with the author that many parents would be willing to use genetic engineering to improve their child’s beauty or intelligence because some parents want gifted child, so the child could become someone in the future. It is realistic in our life that some parents would like to “shop” for their baby’s Characteristics in the future because they want their child with an average level of intelligence. I also like to “shop” for baby’s Characteristics in the future because I want my child to be born intelligent because I want my child to be become success in his young age.

In the article”Designing the Future,”the author Mention that recent progress in genetic engineering has led scientists to believe that the day when parents can “Shop” for their child’s physical, intellectual and personality traits is rapidly approaching. But when that happen it is not guarantee that there won’t be any side effect. I find this idea interesting for the following reasons .Parents would be able to decide their child sex. Parent would be able to consider their child intellect level. The author also mention that There are scientists that believe very soon they will find the genes for a wide of traits even traits that only animals have now. From what i know, the bible say that God has created man in his image, after his likeness and man shall have domination over animals, earth, heaven and sea . I believe that if man start haven animals traits, man would not only be able to use the advantages of those traits the might also look and act like animals and that domination that man have over animals would disappear there wont be any difference between man and animals if that happen, which i don’t agree with and also get my attention to these questions. What will happen to children whose parents won’t be able to afford to give them the physical and mental advantages enjoyed by their genetically “designed” peers? Also How will society treat “imperfect” children ? Will Genetic engineering forever change the face of humanity?

In the article “Designing the Future,” the author state that in future scientists might be able to design kids’ physical, intellectual, and personality by genetic engineering. However, some other scientists believe that there might be some complexity for using genetic engineering. I agree with the author because parents want their children to be the best in the world. It is realistic in everyone life because every parents want their children to be intelligent person. I would not like to “shop” my baby’s characteristics because I want my children to born the way God creates.

I agree with the author that many parents would choose the characteristic for their children. Almost every day scientists identify new genes and the traits that they control. The progress has led to some scientists believe that genetic engineering is rapidly approaching. In my opinion, I would choose genetic engineering to decide their future child’s intellect.

In the article “Designing the Future” the author states that kids can design physical, intellectual, and personality in future by the help of genetic engineering. Scientist has ever spoken of using genetic engineering to give future humans desirable trait that only animal have. The author also assert that parents decides that whether they want a boy or girl . I agree with the author that parents decides about kids characteristic because some parents like boys more than girls. In my opinion i would never like to “shop” for my baby’s characteristics in the future because whatever comes in your life will be good. I think parents should not decides about kids characteristic.

In the article “Designing the Future” the author states the advantage and disadvantage about genetic engineering gifted to the child. The author begins by explaining the genetic engineering can give future humans desirable traits and parents can choices athletic child or wisdom child. On the ohter hand, some scientists believed that gentic engineering will forever change the face of humanity and the long-term health risks of genetic engineering. I disagree with the author because not everyone wants to be gifted and I think child have the right to choice what they want. the article I read “Growing Up Gifted” it also shows some gifted people have special ablities but they often burn out due to pressure. That is why, I don’t think genetic engineering is worth.

In the article “Designing the Future,” the author discusses the rapidly improvement in genetic engineering has led some scientists to think that parents can choose the traits of their children. The parents can decide the characteristics, personality, appearance, and intellectual of their children. I strongly agree that it is a great idea that parents can choose their child’s traits, but no one can be concern that there will be no side effects and the perfection of the genetic engineering. In my perspective, I think that there will be a lot of parents who wanted to choose the characteristics of their children because they wanted their children to have talents after when they are born.

In the article “Designing The Future ” the author discuss about how parents think about their upcoming baby. They have confusion about their baby will be girl or boy. Scientist believe that the day when parents can shop for their future baby because every day scientists identify new genes and the traits that they control. Yes I like to shop for my future baby chareterstic because I know scientists did lots of experiments on this and its actually become very successful and whatever they say its really happened. That’s why I will like to shop.

In the article “Designing the future”, the author discuss of using genetic engineering to improve future children’s desirable traits . Two young couples decided to have a baby, but before they shop for clothes they need to chose whether to have a girl or boy and it’s intellect. Doctor believes that using genetic engineering for future kids is a good idea because it can allow parents to choose any traits they want there future child. I agree of want the author has to say because it will be best for the kids to be a good society and not in a bad society. If I were to be a parent, I would have buy my future child characteristics because don’t want them to go through the same phase I went through as a child.

In the article “Designing the Future,” the author state that in future scientists maybe able to design unborns’ characteristics by the use of genetic engineering. However, some other scientists believe that there might be some complexity for example the genetic engineering could cause mutations and other genetic disorders. I agree with the author because parents want their children to be intelligent and good looking, but I would want my child to be born the way God’s wants the child as everyone is perfect in their own way but I understand why some parents may want to shop for their babies characteristics as they believe certain characteristics make a perfect child.

Most of the people are willing to use genetic engineering to improve their child. I agree with the author because in my opinion, I think genetic engineering is a good way to change any characteristics and gender they want for their future child, Although the technology today is not well developing , but I believe in the future this will become better and benefit to everyone.

The article says that parent can choose the intelligence level, personality, and gender for their children by use genetic engineering and through the survey show that more and more people accepts for put the traits that they wants into their children before the child’s body is born. I completely agree with this idea because no parents want their children lag behind other children, so they will create a perfect children that they want.

In the article, “Designing the future,” the author states that parents can find out how their children will be in the future before they even get born. Parents even can change their children’s characteristics. In genetic engineering, some scientists to believe that the day when parents can “shop” for their child’s physical, intellectual, and personality traits is rapidly approaching. In the reality, we see that to happen because lots of parents go to the hospital and ask the doctor for the information about their child. I agree because lots of my relatives went to the hospital to get the information about their children.

In “Designing the Future” the author state that in the future people can shop for they children future characteristics. I do not know if I would like to shop for my children characteristics because I really do not care what characteristics my children should have. In fact, if a parent shop for a children characteristics, they do not know if that children is going to be healthy or it going to act like a regular human.

In the article ” Designing the Future,” the author states that the parents can choose all the personal, mental ,and physical characteristics and traits of their child in the upcoming years. The recent progress in genetic engineering has led some scientists to believe that the day when parents can shop for their child’s traits is approaching. A scientist has already spoken about using genetic engineering to give humans some animal’s traits such as powerful sense of smell. On the other hand, some scientists think that it’s impossible to use the genetic engineering for making these traits choosing, and some of them think that genetic engineering should only be restricted to those cases in which the health of the mother or her fetus is threatened. I wouldn’t like to shop for my baby’s characteristics in the future for several reasons. First, using genetic engineering isn’t always guaranteed, sometimes it causes mutations for the fetus. Second, it doesn’t sound good to choose all the characteristics for the child as if it’s a robot, i prefer to have it the in the natural way.

“Designing the future” the author state that parents can change and pick their kids characteristic before they born. With to me that just plan out wrong because if your kid has that characteristic then its meant to be and it should be changed at all. Like when I have a kid i’m not going to go shop for my kids traits and wanting him/her as a perfect angle.

In the article ” Designing the Future,” the author state that with the help of genetic engineering one day we will be able to design our perfect baby, base in what would we like to have it. however this type of technology will not be possible for at least 100 years or even more. In my opinion i do not like the idea of create my child because that what God does for me. everything that he makes is perfect. It also makes me think the cost of such advance and how will not possible for everybody.
