The topic that I decided to research about is: whether we should consider switching to electric cars? The reason why I chose this topic is because I have an interest in cars, and there are currently discussions in the automotive industry about switching to batteries instead of engines. It is undeniable that switching to electric cars is the more popular idea, however, we should also consider the cons of it which people tend to ignore. Batteries from the electric cars emit carbon into the air, which can be harmful for the atmosphere and also lead to climate change issues. I want to compare the impacts from both electric and engine cars, and let the numbers decide whether the switch to electric cars are worth it or not.
