This design was inspired by Marshall McLuhan’s book The Medium is the Massage. When reading the book, there was a lot of ideas to choose from. However, owing to the abundance of graphics in the book, I ended up selecting the design of electric circuitry. My attention was drawn to the simple color palette and the aggression of the designs, which included separate arrows moving in different directions. In addition, with the circle in the middle. I took this idea to create a poster that was inspired by Marshall McLuhan’s design and aesthetics. I still wanted to include Marshall McLuhan’s Design aesthetic into my design and convey it from my point of view. When looking at the poster, the viewer should get a sense of boldness.
