One of my favorite lines from Murrayâs piece would be âwriters must learn to be their own best enemy. They must accept criticismâ and so on – 5th paragraph. This line spoke to me because from my experience i always use to just write just to write but also try to write like others. I never put my own twist i thought if i write like others Iâll also get the good comment but no. Later on the years i started to loosen up i had motivation from past teachers and they knew what i was doing they knew this wasnât me. I learned to write how i want depending on what where writing about or what type of essay of course. This line applies to my work because i will be showing what taking criticism gets you ! . Me writing differently and my true self made me love writing so much. And to think this is my piece. I think i was very open about it and my opinion stands.
