My role in the company is to design flyers and brochures. The last flyer I designed was on February and March flyers. My supervisor is Angelica who is a director of this department. I got this internship through service corp last year. I had to make 8 selection of sites in order or preference. This placement was the first one that I gave my interview and Geomara was interviewing me who was such happy soul.
Her energy really gave me the confidence to speak my mind and be relaxed. She was the only one from the site who came to interview me. They wanted to hire a design intern who can also take photographs. I did not have to wait because I was the first one to give an interview. They have events where we take pictures of them on flyers and then I love photography. She looked at my portfolio and kept asking the question the about design process. She asked me are you ok with coming on saturdays to take photos. I said yes because that semester I had 6 classes and it would have been easier to come on a Saturday.
