Unit 3: Genre Determination

In my Unit 2 project, I choice to discuss the effects and personal experience of remote learning that is going on due to the pandemic of Covid-19. Speaking with parents and educators on a daily has become a learning time for myself as a parent and student. I am on the a whole tour on how it is working and what is not working. Also it is a sensitive topic because many are struggling to keep up and survive during these unknown times. The topic of remote learning/ distant learning has become such a priority in America because we refer to the quote “The children are our future” how is our future going to look if we are not getting now? Many children do no have the proper technology needed to learn at home and some children do not have the proper home setting to learn like they did in school.  In my house I have become the IT guy, the teacher, the nurse, the lunch lady, and the principal. Let me tell you I feel for my daughter but I feel for the children that do not have that village that is needed. I hope that they find a way for the schools to open up safely because computers can never replace those that live to teach.

A way to get to my audience about the matter would be a podcast, a big round circle table of people who are going through this. Be allowed to speak without reparations of their jobs because we all know people who hold jobs also hold responsible to their opinions. Also speak with the children on what would make an effective learning experience for them if they had to stay home. I know I ask my daughter all the time and even though she answers with a “let me sleep till 1 pm” she knows what works and what doesn’t. It is unpalatable times but together we can.

Unit 3: Genre Determination- Poem

CARBON WALLPAPER

I watch through the casement, Birdless sky, moving clouds

Then I heed dark fumes sailing toward the azure

As if someone is scattering them to sail toward the azure.

Deadly heatwaves racing toward the city

Except thee are looking above the sky and climbing without even flickering.

It’s lurking grim hunting the future days

Sucking the days off of the shoulders of the lives

Yet thee decided to glance away.

Lethal fumes consuming thousands of lungs and oxygens

Yet thee decided to glance away.

Breathe it, Breathe it out, keep going till the day of bedtime arises.

Mine it, elevate it, and burn it

Glow the glass building of yours until you reach the paradise of yours.

But what about the lives of the future?

You answer me: “OH COM’ON”

Bundles of paper sitting upon the desk begging to pay for black fumes,

Yet, they are busy reaching the height of the sky and never glancing down.

You call me little yet your heart is too small to fit the burden of the collapsing future.

We have one globe to live on, along “climate change” seems like a meme to you.

Yet thee decided to glance away despite the crumbling sounds of the world.

Artist Statement:

Carbon Emission is an intriguing topic for me because people aren’t perceiving the importance of this issue due to these severe climate changes are spotted. This issue might not affect us currently but it might affect the future generation. Many people are working hard to save the planet but on the other hand, some are just disregarding the enormity of this issue despite witnessing so much chaos occurred due to this issue.  Watching devastating wildfires, shrinking ice sheets, etc… inspired me to research Carbon Pricing and going to the roots of this carbon footprint issue. I have chosen to write the importance of carbon pricing in a poem because the readers will try to understand the importance of the topic of Carbon emission and how it is a serious topic to discuss. Nonetheless, I choose to write to the firms such as Woods Mackenzie, Gujarat NRE, etc… who don’t look beyond their profits, and to those people who believe that Climate change is a myth such as Donald Trump. Greenhouse gas impacts that attribute to global warming and climate change. Though estimating carbon footprint is a way to assess one’s lifestyle’s environmental consequences. The main goal of this writing is the wake the sleeping humanity of these people because they might not care about the future generation but we can’t be held accountable for this significant issue despite the daily efforts some individuals make to preserve the only planet for humankind to live on. I have chosen to write a poem because I find poems to be very mysteriously meaningful. I have written the poem explains how much carbon emission affects the health and atmosphere of the earth, not only that but the big firms are neglecting and continuing to use more and more greenhouse gases without paying tax.

Unit 3: Genre Determination

In my previous post in Unit 2 project. I have talked about how education should be free for everyone.I also did my research and found out that many students have dropped out school or college because they didn’t have enough money or because it was really expensive for them, most students also don’t go to college because they just don’t want to,college is a challenge for every single one of us.Studies have shown that children who would be primary care doctors, healthcare workers and teachers, all occupations which are hurting workers so badly, end up in jail without collection, fight U.S. wars and work forever in low-paid, low-wage jobs. The study shows that your college will affect your everyday life from the day you go out for the rest of your life. You could work hard whatever it was and make it huge. This is our country’s unique American dream.

The price of teaching and education has skyrocketed across the country, with the economy shifting drastically over the years ahead. This has led many families in the country to compete financially to determine whether or not to send their children to college for good education. This involves a change so that families can make affordable use of that resource, so “What is the best way for people to get a good education at a lower cost? ”It seems like many families of children who have only graduated secondary school and who are searching for a higher education will suffer significantly. As a norm, many employers need higher education to achieve a competitive career in the labor market. If the price of college increases, this will affect everyone, because it will be much easier to afford.

Many people who don’t want to be in debt due to student credit like FAFSA and other firms such as this fee to borrow their funds are part of why this reform in our education should take place. This money is accumulated at a huge rate that most people can’t afford. Such consequences will lead to the bankruptcy of people and financial loss because of the large amount of debt accumulated from students.

Students would have more time to concentrate on learning and graduating than to think about paying the school term by term. This allows individuals to graduate on time and to transition into the job market.

As some might say affordable is a justification why education should be free, some are in favor of our economy being better trained and the possibility of providing a certain lifestyle is very small if you do not reach this norm. Every human being has the same right to achieve his full potential.

The world is evolving quickly and needs regular work by people with experience or specialized skills.

Another justification for free education is the government’s misuse of money. Resource power capable of contributing to medical discoveries, economic and technological growth. This will give our country the opportunity to have a greater influence as an advantage over other nations, and it is important to the society of this world to build a mixture of different governments.

“What is necessary is for the best and the brightest to enter the university and not just the richest, the Director for the Directorate for Education and Skills at the OECD, Andreas Schleicher, says in an article by Debating Europe. Everyone has to pay for it concurrently. So it is important to find a way to share the costs and benefits amongst public authorities, governments and entrepreneurs, so it’s the safest and most brightest way of obtaining the best position in university….”

The list will help the idea that higher education should be free for all with so many explanations. The advantages of tuition-free education include the principles of sustainability, economic growth, medical discovery and the creation of technology. This will benefit the entire world and contribute to a growing growth for human life with the highly educated population. But this cannot be achieved if the education that would like to send its children to higher education is not affordable or free for families.
