Traditions Week (WRJ#2)

This week was a really fun week and it went by very fast because of how busy I was kept. One of the most important events of the week was traditions. I finally had my traditions after waiting such a long time. Traditions` was an amazing experience! I got my ears and met other new cast members. Another highlight of my week was operations training. We learned how to properly bend, lift, and reach for things. It was a good experience because I actually learned something I did not realize before. I always bent down properly to lift heavy things but held them incorrectly. After this training, I was able to fix that and now I will be able to perform my role as a housekeeper much better. Safety is Disney`s first priority and I feel very comfortable now performing my role as safe as possible. I am looking forward to starting learning and training for my role.

Completing my traditions in Disney University!

  1. Did you make any connections between Traditions and training? What is the proper way to hold something?

Your role as a housekeeper will not be easy so I am thrilled that they live by the 5 Keys and taught you safety before teaching you anything else.
