The Beauty Of The Four Seasons

The four seasons of the year, spring, summer, fall and winter. Weather, ecology and hours of sunlight changes, differentiates the seasons apart but noĀ matter which one you dearly love the most, they are unique in their own ways.

You can fully experience the diversity in characteristics of each seasons, by going to the same location during each seasons and see it how that place drastically change from seasons to seasons.

Spring is said to be one of the best season of the year. The eruption of beautiful colorful flowers, the fresh smell of nature andĀ  the apparition of a nice pleasant weather are all that contributes to Spring.

Spring Break At the Museum

Now that we are more than halfway into the spring break and for some, Ā it might not have been going as expected due to whatever reasons. The weather conditions haven’t been great either and this is perhaps limiting people to go out and enjoy themselves. Well don’t give up yet, remember this is New York City, thus there is always something to do in this city that can suits your needs.

You are an animal person, and you like all kind of animals? Perhaps during this break you’ve planed to go visit your animal friends, but mainly due to the not so good weather conditions, you are not willing to go to the zoo. Thus, there’s not a better place to go to than the American Museum of Natural History. There they showcase many different species of animals, and if mammals are your favorites, you surely won’t regret going to this place. In numerous halls, mammals are brilliantly depicted in dioramas which also showcase the ecosystem endemic to that particular region. Don’t get me wrong it is not the zoo; however it is as close as it gets. The experience of going to the American Museum of Natural History, is unique and a safari-like attraction.

Winter Throwback

Everyone knows winter is one the least liked season of the year. The temperature goes down making it extremely cold, with freezing winds blasting on us, and of course it is tiring to continuously shovel after every snow storms.

Despite of all the inconveniences, winter still has beauty to it, and it did not hesitate to show its beautiful side for one last time ironically on the first day of spring. Surely winter did not want to go away leaving behind a bad impression of itself, thus somehow winter had to manage to get the job done and redeem itself.

“Our City, Our Club”

Ladies and gentlemen, New Yorkers from all boroughs, with much excitement and gratitude, I am happy to announce that there is a new team in New York City. New York City Football Club (NYCFC), is the latest addition to New York’s Ā professional sport teams and the Major League Soccer (MLS). Although they have been officially announced on May 21, 2013; last Sunday at the iconic Yankee Stadium on March 15, they played their very ever home game. There were a massive turnout of Ā 43,507 supporters taking part at the “Historic Home Opener” who were sent home very excited celebrating a 2-0 win against New England Revolution, the opponent from Boston.

I took part in this amazing experience and I must say attending the first game was arguably one of the best experiences of my life. Football or soccer as others call it in the U.S, is the most popular sport in the world and my passion since I was a child. I am a dedicated follower of FC Barcelona –a team based in Barcelona, Spain– however the second I heard the news of a soccer team coming to New York City, I quickly adopted them as part of my own and founded out ways to get involve with the team. I got involved with The Third Rail which is a group of fans from NYC and the world who unites together to proudly support NYCFC. The soccer culture is really growing in NYC, thus I really encourage all of you, New Yorkers to come to Yankee Stadium and support this great of team of ours.

NYCFC surely have passionate fans, who were cheering them throughout the all game, the atmosphere was just electric. I captured some of the bestĀ  moments of the “Historic Home Opener” and each of those unique moments are filled with quotes that are chants sung by The Third Rail members including me during the game.

“Win or lose. We will always follow you. Let it rain, let it pour. We will sing forevermore. Our opponents know. We will fight them toe to toe. Forever blue and white. We will win this game tonight!” – Third Rail

Snow Days In NYC Parks

New York City is bombarded with public parks in all of it’s corners, they are the place where New Yorkers come to relax and refresh their souls. Arguably, one of the best moments to go a park is during a snow day or after snowfall. It is truly a wondrous experience that will brighten your day. The vast white blanket that covers the parks gives it a much more glamorous look. Everyone is encouraged to go to NYC parks during and after snowfall, you will find the experience exhilarating.

It is only those who seeks for the positives in life, will know where and how to find necessary elements to refresh their souls.
