These authors had an asthetic approach to typophoto. It’s a way that type and image can be arranged together with transparent film.  Why is it better than the traditional design/typography of the past? It allows artists to be more creative, to have more freedom with their typography instead of sticking to boring basic columns. This allowed them to convery their opinions/messages much clearer and overall became more presentable plus eye-catching. Basically it allowed artists to think more outside the box with less restrictions. What role should typography, photography, and other media play in shaping a new kind of design? Visually selling the message. Sometimes you can’t just trust words alone to convery a message. Visual presentation is also necessary. It adds character, it forms a story, it creates a scene that viewers/an audience can process in their head. How did technological advances influence aesthetic forms and theories in early 20th Century design? These advances brought everything to life in the form of video. In this day and age, people have an easier time understanding a video than a still image. Everything spreads faster across the country, across the world, thanks to films,TV, and all forms of videos.
