First off, I love that you executed this assignment with the advice column! This is giving me Scholastic and BrainPop vibes. It makes it much more interesting to read. I also like how the anonymous writer lists all the misconceptions about coronavirus and regulations so that you could have a smooth transition into the Covid-19 details. That way the information flows out in a fashion that isn’t overwhelming or unwarranted. One thing I learned is that someone who has the flu will only infect an average of one other person. Has anyone actually tried to convince you that coronavirus is a political stunt or downplay its seriousness?
No one has tried to convince me that the coronavirus is a political stunt, at least not yet. I do know some people who just don’t care that much about the virus though.
What I love most is Colum’s suggestions and the websites that have helped you with this job. One thing I have discovered is that a situation can never be judged too quickly. One question I have is what events have happened to you to believe that Covid-19 is a serious situation and what events have occurred to believe his opinion of your friend.
When some of my relatives caught COVID-19 that’s when I started thinking that this virus is definitely no joke, and that we should be putting in a serious effort to stop it. Thankfully none of my relatives died though. However, one of them did end up going to the hospital.
