WeBWorK due Sunday, April 28

  • Trigonometry – Equations

  • Test #3 review part 1 (comment, instructions)
  • Test #3 review part 2 (post, instructions)
  • Use spring break to catch up on any old OpenLab assignments that you have missed

Other

  • You should have received an email from the math department about a “reflection and support” module in WeBWorK. This is separate from your usual WeBWorK homework and will not impact your overall WeBWorK score, though it’s there to help you with the course material. When you click the link in the email and log in with the information you were sent, it will take you to a separate WeBWorK section with two sets. Complete both of the sets for five extra participation points (you’ll get the five extra points only if you complete both sets).
    • Activity Demo – open 3/25, Monday, close 5/13, Monday
    • Activity – open 4/29, Monday, close 5/13, Monday

Test #3 review part 2

Post due Sunday, April 28

The instructions for this activity are similar to those for the Test #1 and Test #2 review activities

Test #3 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1. As a class, you will create a review sheet here on the OpenLab. Each student will solve one problem and post their full solution on the OpenLab. You may take a photo of your hand-written work and place it directly in your post, or you may upload it to Dropbox or Google drive (or some other file-sharing platform) and copy-paste the link to your photo in your OpenLab post.

Topics:

  • Chapters 13-21
  • Make sure all the topics are represented; don’t solve a problem that one of your classmates has already posted the solution for.

Resources: choose one problem to solve from:

Your post must include:

  1. Where you found the problem (for example, “Final exam review sheet #3(c)”)
  2. Your complete solution, showing all your work
  3. Title: Test #3 Review
  4. Category: Test #3 Review
