ASHE Scholarship 2019-2020 application now available

The American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), New York Metro Section Scholarship is established to provide scholarships to the students who show exceptional leadership, character and interest in the Civil Engineering field. Student ASHE membership will be offered at discounted rate.

Applicants must:

1. Attend one of the colleges of the Metro New York area.

2. Be currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program (currently as a freshman, sophomore, or junior) at an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) college / university.

3. Submit this application by December 2, 2019.

Volunteers needed for City Tech P.L.A.N. Initiative Week ’19

City Tech’s first-ever P.L.A.N. Initiative Week is coming up.Volunteers are needed in the Namm/Library, Academic Complex, and Voorhees buildings, as well as for workshops being held in Namm 119 from Oct 21-Oct 24.

SHPE NYC Career Expo aims to prepare Latino college students and early career professionals for internships and full-time opportunities in the STEM fields. The event will feature career development talks by SHPE corporate partners along with industry networking and recruiting opportunities. Giuliana Benedicty is a leading project manager at Hunter Roberts with a solid reputation for working on public housing and higher education projects in the Bronx, Harlem and Washington Heights.
