CMCE’s Career Fair on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 5:00-8:00pm

The CMCE Career Fair is part of the 4th annual CMCE Career Week, October 14-18, 2024 – a weeklong series of events exposing students to new career paths and professional networks.

The WTS-GNY 2024 Scholarships has been extended to 7/5! Apply today!

The Greater New York Chapter of WTS invites eligible women to apply for the scholarships at the graduate, undergraduate, and high school levels, as appropriate to the individual.

People identifying as women continue to be under-represented in transportation-related fields. As a result, we will be prioritizing those applicants. Male identifying candidates may still apply and are encouraged to show traits of strong advocacy and allyship in their application.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:

·  GPA of 3.0 or higher, proof of transcript

·  Enrolled in or accepted to a degree program in a transportation-related field, such as engineering, planning and logistics

·  Must be attending a NY institution and/or a NY resident

Applicants may apply to multiple scholarships if they meet the required criteria.

Construction Plan Reading Workshops – Tues. + Wed. 6pm-8pm Room V405

Dear CMCE students,

One of the most important skills that companies are looking for is the ability to read plans.

One of our alumni has put together a series of workshops covering all types of construction drawings and designed to better prepare you for the workforce.  We highly recommend this for anyone in their senior year but it is open to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge.

Dates: June 25,26; July 2,3,9, 10;  6pm-8pm

Location: Voorhees, V405

Topics: PCC plans/Roadbase, Lighting/Intelligence traffic system,  Drainage,  Structures and Steel

Instructors: Brandow Rojas & Anupam Pandit , M&J Engineering
