The curls on her head differentiated her
her white skinned, blonde haired, straight haired family.
Light eyes, white skin, blonde hair, straight
The canvas is the greatest enemy of all
beckoning a challenger It knows cannot be found
Clear white skin brings fear of ruin
Minds wrung dry just trying to

To none of those adults with parents, that ocean arising.
Given and taken, torn and ruptured
Live in the peaceful memories yet to come.

I feel like an old doll,
I’m viewed as fragile,
breakable,
and unvalued,
Some people pick me,
touch me,
break me,
and neglect me.
