Wide Angle Distortion
No Wide Angle Distortion

Wide angle distortion is when there is something very close to the camera while other objects are not, making the size of the objects seem distorted to their real life size. You can create this by placing an object or part of your body close to the camera while everything else is at a normal distance from the camera. You may want to use this when you are intentionally wanting to distort reality in your images. You’ll want to avoid this in most scenarios where you want to capture the reality of your subject.
