LL1 – What makes a great photograph?

What makes a great photograph?

I think that what makes a great photograph is the location, lighting, focus, angle, moment, and emotion. The moment can be the key of a photo. Another element that helps us describe a person or an object in a photograph, is the angle. Light is very important for a photographer because it helps you with details. Further more, the location also another element that is important for a photograph. Last, a photograph tells an story and catch the moment of an important event.

We will talk later in the semester about “the decisive moment.” It means the moment when the action is clearest and that makes the point of the story. One second before would be a different story and one second after as well.
