This class was mainly an introduction for the first half.

For the material we learned in class, general career paths were thrown into the discussion while discussing how Hospitality Management companies operate. How many different things are taken into account such as entertainment, sanitation, purchasing, general customer service, etc.

Learning priorities within a company that focuses on hospitality means that maintaining customer happiness is the most important thing because it is a choice to be at the establishment.

One other thing that interested me towards the end of the class was learning about pilgrimages and how Hospitality is closely related to them. Since their Journeys were long pilgrims had to find hospice along their trip.
