Your job this week is to evaluate resumes in preparation for the interview portion of the hiring process. Your work includes careful planning and consideration. Watch the Preparations for hiring Video .
Create an evaluation chart
- (See the sample below.) Your professor created a video for you on how she created her chart. Turn yours in inside black board on the assignment tab evaluation of resume chart.
- Your professor will post a series of resumes in the discusion section of blackboard. You will apply the chart to each resume.
- Your job is to select the top five resumes you would want to invite to be interviewed. Use the resumes posted to the discussion board on black board
Write a short Essay
- After you have made your selection write a short essay using the job description, resumes and your chart as your cititations. Discuss who you picked and why.
- Turn in the assignment on black board in the assignment tab called interviewee selection
