Online Component Description

This class will take place weekly.  You are responsible for following the syllabus and staying current with the material and assigned productions.

Reflections

A reflection is a thoughtful, and in depth response, and/or comment on our weekly topical assignment. In order to get credit participate in the reflections for each topic on Open Lab.

Assignments and documents

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining documents on a weekly basis that relate to your assigned production. Beware if your production is early in the semester you are still responsible for producing weekly assignments that you will be creating inside and outside of class.

Instructor online presence

I will check in to Blackboard  each day, Monday through Friday. I will also be checking my email every day Monday through Friday. I will not be available on Blackboard or via e-mail on weekends. Please feel free to make an appointment for a face to face meeting if you need support in understanding the course content or online navigation instruction  I will post course announcements at least once a week, and more if something interesting or important comes up.

Netiquette

This class has content that takes place online, you are expected to observe the same behavior that you would in a normal classroom. Bullying, talking down to others, and foul language will not be permitted. You must use correct capitalization and punctuation. All caps posts and posts using text slang or emoji will have points deducted.
