Events 101

Supporting events can be an awesome experience if the proper planning takes place. The production needs a location, audience, staff and defined outcomes to be successful. This semester the class will work on current events being produced by City Tech Theatreworks and the class will present one virtual or pop up event. We will examine communication systems, marketing, budgeting, staffing and trouble shooting.

Teamwork

Students will be assigned to a few productions. She/He/They will participate in the planning, staffing and running the event. Experiences may include trouble shooting issues and running the post-production review session.
