My topic matters to me because I believe it’s a really important topic. It affects me, my family and every single person in the world. Covid 19 has taken 5.1 million lives worldwide. Any dedication made by the government today can affect us a lot. I feel like the government had made a mistake by reopening schools, especially for children. Opening up schools for teenagers is one thing, they are aware of how dangerous it is and understand it and will wear a mask to keep themselves safe. But children don’t know the dangers of it and won’t wear masks and follow the Covid guideline because they’re too young to understand all of that. Also when children started going back to school, they had hope that everything may be back to normal, but now every day there are students being told to quarantine 14 days because their classmate tested positive for corona. Schools should be closed until coronavirus is fully finished and the government is 100% sure that children will be safe in school.
