Many people started to protest when they were told to wear masks and put under lockdown but the fail to see that the best way to stop the virus was to stay away from others and protect yourself with masks. Protesters have voiced their anger over lockdown restrictions in the US in a series of demonstrations. Measures brought in to try to stop the spread of Covid-19 have been criticized as too harsh by some, while others say they aren’t tough enough. After months of deserted public spaces and empty roads, Americans have returned to the streets. But they have come not for a joyous reopening to celebrate the country’s victory over the coronavirus. There’s no point in denying the obvious: Standing in a crowd for long periods raises the risk of increased transmission of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
