Hello my name is James Morrison. My family has influenced me in a multitude of ways. Being a child of two immigrant parents, I feel a tremendous amount of pressure in doing well in life. Seeing how hard my parents have worked in order to provide a stable household for my sibling and I, constantly motivates me in achieving my goals. Whenever I feel demotivated I remind myself that my parents have worked diligently to take care of me while never complaining once. This reminds me to never stray off my path, no matter how difficult the road may become. Having my parents as a constant pillar of strength gives me the confidence I need to chase my goals and I truly feel indebted to them.

So where are your parents from? It’s so nice that they’re supportive — that’s not an easy thing to find!
