Part from getting information from a single source plays in what she’s saying in the Ted-Talk that the dangers of a single story is that one story can make you visual only those types of characteristics upon them nothing else really comes to mind because its just based off of that single story that you heard. Due to that exact single story you will have your thoughts driven towards it only which proves that such assumptions can bring pity amongst those people or groups due to only knowing that knowledge. As a result in the end those people or person may not be needing pity among them and you listening to that story made you see how differently you looked at them according to that single story or point of view. This can relate to so many sides of basically anything such as when getting to know someone you can hear story’s about them or hear them but in the end you won’t truly know until you find out for yourself which can also be leaded on towards religion or cultural when hearing sterotypical assumptions.
