I have always been interested in topics such as morality, ethics, and humanitarian rights. A current issue that has been brought attention to , but not enough, is the crisis in China. In Uyghur, the government has detained possibly more than 2 million Uyghurs in what they call “reeducation centers”. The Uyghurs are predominantly muslim and the government has been trying to assimilate them into a different culture/religion through acts of torture. This is a mass genocide and morally it is beyond inhumane.
