Okay this week definitely felt much longer. I think the only news is that my location scheduled me to work after class on Thursday so that’s a first. Today is our first day of housing inspections and I’m already annoyed. In the real world, I don’t think we’re fined if our room isn’t tip top perfect but any who…
There will be moments where I do feel lucky I’m sticking it out through this program. It’s tiring but I know I’m not all that ready to go back to the cold.
We’re starting to get transfers from other locations here and some of my friends from work have been transferred too. It’s still busy but the dancing and random flash mobs we’ll do make it fun and worthwhile and helps relieve stress for both cast members and guests I think.
As far as work itself, there are still small things I still haven’t done. I really would like to sell shaved ice out in our hall. Our register system still has buttons on the screen that don’t work and not every item can be found–that can get a bit annoying because guests will notice charge differences for something that they did not order. But other than that things are fine. Here’s to week 12…and getting enough sleep.
So, a few months have passed, looking back on this post I hope that you learned that perseverance through difficult times can lead to great learning opportunities.
