Hello!
My name is Brittany Lowe, I’m looking forward to everything that’s yet to come my way with the Disney College Program, just a tad bit nervous. My position is FOH Quick Food and Beverage Services. Recently, I just found out my job location which is Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I plan on taking two classes with Disney and will have assignments to take as well with City Tech. I already know this will be challenging being a full-time employee and student. Is there anyone that can give me advice about what should I expect for both? Any advice at this moment will help and I will be grateful.
Sorry for the late response, as I continue to read your post I look forward to the change and adaptation to the Disney life that awaits you. Being at Disney the number one problem you’ll encounter is time management. There is honestly not enough hours in a day to experience everyday to its fullest. However, it does not mean you can’t plan for a just as awesome experience. I definitely felt that completing as many home works in advance will save you from being swamped in the future. As the seasons change, there will be MORE events to come and definitely not something you’d want to miss.
I’d suggest meeting up with other students from CityTech if you ever feel troubled and form a sort of buddy system. Nothing beats hanging out and comparing NY life to FL life!
